My new MacBook

Yes I did it. I bought a MacBook. A 2.4 GHz one with a shiny illuminated keyboard. I always have been very sceptical about Apple and MacOS but to overcome this stereotypes I thought it would maybe be better to check it out myself. So far I’m quite astonished by how nice MacOS X is. Everything works really great and I’m getting familiar with the behaviour. At the moment I’m trying to get along with macports and fink. I already installed some software like twitteriffic, adium and some other stuff. I follow up posts I’ll report a bit more detailed. Still have to get used to it. So stay tuned for more.
